OPSI and systemd
I'm using a non-systemd distro here. The release notes tell me systemd is not officially supported in OPSI 4.1. To unofficially get 4.1 working is it possible for me to create some kind of unsupported 4.0-4.1 hybrid system? I'd be interested in this even if this would be significantly non-trivial. I...

Samba+LDAP
I would like to use OPSI on my Samba+LDAP server. Samba can only use one user backend, so because I'm using LDAP I can't have the pcpatch and opsiconfd users stored locally. Instead I've manually put pcpatch and opsiconfd into LDAP, and tried to make the configuration correct ie. I've given them hom...

Permissions wrong in previous message
After creating /var/lib/opsi/depot
opsi-setup --set-rights

/var/lib/opsi/depot directory not created (v4.03. on Wheezy)
The /var/lib/opsi/depot directory was not created on my installation ie. the testing 4.0.3.2-1 packages on Debian Wheezy. (I also had an earlier issue with /home/opsiproducts not existing, but I can't remember the details. Opsiconfd failed to start. The log showed /var/lib/opsi/depot didn't exist : ...

Re: Debian Wheezy dependency issue (OPSI 4.0.3)
Unfortunately it seems the patched tftpd has a dependency on "upstart-jobs", and Debian upstart support is kind of broken right now. Looking forward to Wheezy support so I can play with this stuff, test etc...

Re: Debian Wheezy dependency issue (OPSI 4.0.3)
How should this be fixed in the long term? Should this be handled on the Debian side with a metapackage ie. atftpd and tftpd-hpa "provide" tftpd, or should the opsipxeconfd dependencies be modified so that they can be satisfied by any of the existing tftp servers? By the way, regarding the...

Debian Wheezy dependency issue (OPSI 4.0.3)
I need to use an alternate tftpd (ie. atftpd), but the opsipxeconfd package only depends on tftpd. Is it possible to have opsipxeconfd also allow alternate tftp daemons (eg. atftpd, tftpd-hpa)?

Dependency issues - OPSI on Debian Squeeze /w atftpd+GOsa
I'm having a dependency issue running OPSI on Debian Squeeze alongside the GOsa management interface and atftpd... basically I can't install atftpd alongside OPSI. GOsa maintains OPSI configurations, and manages the tftpd directory via FUSE - therefore any vanilla tftp daemon can be used to serve OP...

Re: Problem installing Win7
Thankyou very much... it now works, or at least gets further (my latest installation is still continuing). I'm curious as to what's different in the unattend.txt files. I never thought to look at how the Vista and Vista64 unattend.txt were different. Perhaps that would have given me a clue.
