ich habe vergeblich nach einem passendem Thema gesucht, das meine Problematik lösen könnte...

Ich würde gerne unser Opsi-Linux-Bootimage aktualisieren, aber weiß nicht genau, wie ich das anstellen soll. Folgende Fragen sind noch für mich offen:

- Welche Version habe ich derzeit im Einsatz?
- Welche aktuelle Version gibt es derzeit?
- Woher bekomme ich die aktuelle Version her?
- Wie update ich unser System auf die neueste Version?
- Welche Aspekte muss ich beachten (evtl. Backup vom aktuellen Bootimage)?

Ich danke euch schonmal im Voraus für die Hilfe.

- Welche Version habe ich derzeit im Einsatz?
# dpkg -l | grep opsi (Devian Ubuntu)
# rpm -qa | grep opsi (RedHat/CentOS)

- Welche aktuelle Version gibt es derzeit?
opsi-linux-bootimage_20110808-1_all.deb

- Woher bekomme ich die aktuelle Version her?
http://download.opensuse.org/repositori ... i:/opsi40/

- Wie update ich unser System auf die neueste Version?
die Pakete downloaden und installieren
oder
siehe die Dokumentation repository konfigurieren (die bessere Lösung, nächstes mal kannst du bequem mit einem Befehl updaten)

- Welche Aspekte muss ich beachten (evtl. Backup vom aktuellen Bootimage)?
Das Paket von der alte Version aufbewahren. So kannst du downgraden.
Wenn du das Paket nicht hast, backup von /tftpboot. Drinnen liegen die Linux images etc.
