Hi,
Just downloaded opsi-configed-setup.exe on https://download.uib.de/opsi4.1/misc/helper/
I have tried to install on 2 win7-x86. On both, i get a wrong architecture error when launch.
And i get the same error when trying to launch javaw.exe in "c:\Program Files\opsi.org\opsi-configed\bin" directory
Wrong arch in embedded java ? Or my mistake ?
Regards,
Nico

Re: Opsi-configed doesn't launch on win7 32bits
Not your mistake, but the configed-setup.exe is a secondary helper program which indeed addresses only the 64bit architecture.
The opsi-configed package from https://download.uib.de/opsi4.1/stable/ ... localboot/ includes the logic to select the java engine so that it matches the architecture.
If you want to use the configed on a non-opsi pc you may use the configed-setup.exe and manually correct the start menu link so that it does not call the included 64bit JRE.
Hope that helps.
