Debian Wheezy dependency issue (OPSI 4.0.3)
Debian Wheezy dependency issue (OPSI 4.0.3)
I need to use an alternate tftpd (ie. atftpd), but the opsipxeconfd package only depends on tftpd. Is it possible to have opsipxeconfd also allow alternate tftp daemons (eg. atftpd, tftpd-hpa)?
Re: Debian Wheezy dependency issue (OPSI 4.0.3)
Debian Wheezy is not supported at the moment.
We have for Debian/Ubuntu an experimentell package
in
http://download.opensuse.org/repositori ... aintained/
which one can use in conjunction with the package
(this package has not so much package dependencies as the opsi-depotserver package

Re: Debian Wheezy dependency issue (OPSI 4.0.3)
How should this be fixed in the long term? Should this be handled on the Debian side with a metapackage ie. atftpd and tftpd-hpa "provide" tftpd, or should the opsipxeconfd dependencies be modified so that they can be satisfied by any of the existing tftp servers?
By the way, regarding the opsi expert package - this still has a dependency on osipxeconfd and therefore tftpd.

Re: Debian Wheezy dependency issue (OPSI 4.0.3)
Unfortunately it seems the patched tftpd has a dependency on "upstart-jobs", and Debian upstart support is kind of broken right now. Looking forward to Wheezy support so I can play with this stuff, test etc...
